Our books are created to meet the needs of the reader in one or more of these key areas. We do not limit the type of book we publish, although at this time we are not accepting queries for fiction.

We have a unique approach to publishing. We prefer authors who are speakers. However, if you are not currently as speaker, do not let that stop you from submitting. We work with authors, helping them develop their speaking business. We believe our authors have an important message to share and we want to enable and empower them to share it verbally as well as in writing.  We also want authors to share their message with as many people as possible. The more books you write, the more speaking you do and the more speaking you do, the more books you sell. We provide authors and speakers with the information, material and assistance they need to succeed. Make no mistake, it is hard work but when you see the impact your books and presentations have on people, you know the hard work is well worth it.

In addition, you need to understand our market. We publish faith based books for women, all women. We want to show the practical application of faith and Scripture for women in their lives today. If you believe the market for your title is Christian women, then you should query Christian publishers. If however, you have a desire to impact the lives of women today regardless where they are on their faith journey (especially if they haven't begun the journey), then you are an Extreme Diva and we want to learn more about your project.

Queries should be submitted by email. In your query, tell us about your book, how it addresses one or more of the key areas and why you are the one qualified to write it. Please make your query concise. We know how excited authors are to share their ideas. However, queries that ramble tend to frighten us. Your query shows us that you are able to clearly and directly express your ideas and thoughts. Take time, take a breath and then take a moment to reread your query before sending. Please only query one project at a time. We truly believe each author has a book that is currently speaking to their heart, a book that excites the author so much they can barely contain it, a book that writes itself. Consider carefully which project speaks loudest and then query. You need to choose what to write rather than wanting us to assign a topic from the the list you send. We shall choose another author rather than one of your topics.

Keep in mind that the relationship between publisher and author is much like marriage. There is one out there who is right for you. Remain determined to find the right one even if it take time. Do not settle in your desire to become published. Neither you nor your publisher will be happy in the end.

Our desire is a cooperative relationship with our authors. When each of us does our part, we both succeed. We know many authors are very, very unhappy with their publishers and vice versa. It is often a strained relationship to say the least. We would like to change all of that. We hope to maintain our focus on the reader. It is the reader's needs that should be first and foremost. Therefore, we strive to find material (books) to meet those needs and ways to get the material to the reader. We seek writers who wish to do the same. It is a lot of work but, in the end, it is worth all the effort.

That having been said, below is a list of categories in which we are seeking books:

Devotions to Go:  This is a series of 30 day devotionals printed in a 4"x6" format. They fit in a purse. They come in a variety of topics and the list of additional topics is limitless. Choose a topic that is near and dear and query. We suggest you read one before you begin.

Girlfriends On...(subject):  Printed in the same size as the Devotions to Go series, the Girlfriends On... books address a specific topic. The writing style should be informal, a written version of a conversation between 2 women over a cup of coffee. Topics might include pregnancy, new motherhood, finance, dating, organization, weddings, toddlers, infertility, miscarriage, divorce, showers, entertaining, tea, etc. Again, the scope of topics is limitless.

The size of the books (4"x6" 150 pages or less) makes it necessary for the author to narrow the focus of each book. The size also enables The Extreme Diva to offer books on subjects that might not work with a full size book but are perfect for such a small book. Topic advice is to be informal and practical, the advice of one woman who has been there and wishes to help a girlfriend going through the same experience.

Self Improvement for Women: Topics that specifically address one or more of the 4 key areas. Authors should either be experts in the field or speak from first hand knowledge.

Cookbooks/Entertainment Guides: We believe relationships are strengthened through entertaining. Therefore, we seek material to help the reader fit cooking and entertaining into their hectic schedule. Holidays, special events, even the everyday are all reasons to entertain.
