Our mission for 2009 is to encourage women to increase the strength of their network, especially their friendships. At EDM, we believe in the power of friendship for women. Friends create a strong foundation in the life of a woman, giving her the stability and support she needs in turbulent times.
Throughout the year, EDM is offering a variety of activities, programs and materials to help you strengthen your existing friendships and build new ones.

At Extreme Diva Media, we help women improve the quality of their life. As part of our mission, we help speakers (and authors) create the best career possible. By offering speakers the tools and training they need to run a successful business, we enable them to help other women create the best possible lives for themselves. We know this is a radical approach to doing business but no one ever said we did things the conventional way.
We are always looking for speakers who want to help other women accessorize their live through their presentations. Are you one of the women we need? Do you have what it takes to became an Extreme Diva Speaker?
Speakers Bureau Topic Categories
Our bureau offers audiences 5 types of presentations. Speakers may have presentations in more than one category. Each chosen topic is be given a category designation so event planners are able to identify the intensity and approach of each topic.
In addition, we are seeking to create teams of speakers for each category. This enables us to promote event packages for organizations. For example, a church hosting a women’s event on personal finance and our current national economic situation would be able to contract with us for a team of speakers to come in and do a coordinated event with each speaker building on and complimenting the material presented by the other speakers on the team. We believe topics will be the focus of event planners in the months to come. By building teams of experienced speakers with expertise on different areas of the given topic, we feel we will offer planners the opportunity to present a strong event. Our categories currently are:
- Two Feet Seminars: Hard hitting quality of life presentations addressing serious problems women face in their personal lives and the lives of their families. Each presentation has 3 distinct parts: first part explains the issue in detail and explains how the situation begins and develops; second part offers advice and guidance to help women get out of the situation with a action plan that can be implemented immediately and the third part offers ways to continue the recovery process, techniques to move from recovery to success and solid advice to prevent the situation from repeating.
- Accessorize Your Life Presentations: Lighter entertaining quality of life presentations that incorporate the “Accessorize Your Life” philosophy into each presentation. While these presentations are lighter in nature, the advice is still powerful, allowing audience members to immediately apply techniques to their lives, adding the idea to the common sense information they already possess.
- Extreme Diva Presentations: Each presentation incorporates the Extreme Diva philosophy into its material. Topics include general interest, quality of life and Christian.
- Extreme Diva Writers’ Workshop: Seminars offer authors ways to build their business and strengthen the professional abilities. Presentations focus on the business side of writing, not technique. Seminars are based on the Extreme Diva philosophy.
- Extreme Diva Business Workshops: Seminars are built on the Extreme Diva philosophy. This approach helps professional women improve the quality of their professional life while offering solid business advice.
EDM Presentations
Times change and at EDM, we realized we needed a new way to bring our presentations to the women who really needed the information. We believe the message is the most important thing and we work to use a variety of means to share the information with our audiences. For example:
- Teleseminars: These online seminars, also called webinars, allow us to bring presentations to women in the comfort of their own home. These presentations are done live and recorded. Women may listen as the program is being prsented, having the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation. Women who are unable to join the live presentation may download the program so they may listen later.
- Podcasts: These online "radio" shows offer speakers the opportunity to be interviewed live on the air. The host is given a list of questions on the topic so they may interview the speaker during their program. EDM offers a variety of podcasts for this purpose. Speakers may also record theirs presentation which is then edited by our staff and uploaded to the web. Women may then download the presentation at their convenience.
- Virtual Retreats/Conferences: These online events feature a variety of speakers on a specific topic. These events may be scheduled for 1-3 days. Just like traditional events, different presentations are offered to attendees who listen online. For each of these online programs, handouts are offered to the attendees. Speakers, books, websites and presentations are promoted during the event. In addition to these online programs, traditional "in-person" events are also scheduled for our speakers.
EDM Publishing
Speaking is a vital way to share ideas and advice with other women. Another way to reach them is through your writing. We offer you 2 ways to reach women through your writing:

Our Market
We market our presentations (and books) to women 35-50. Most are married with children and work outside the home. Current economic conditions have left them dazed and confused. For many (the younger part of our market), this is the first time they have experienced a national recession. Layoffs, foreclosures and increasing prices at the pump and grocery store are causing these women to seek ways to bring stability and security to their families and homes. They want simple practical advice that they can apply as soon as they get home.
In addition, we offer presentations for authors and speakers, At EDM, we seek to mentor women beginning their careers as authors and speakers. We know the experience of other authors and speakers is the best experience the is. Therefore, we have added topics on writing and speaking to our list of categories.
